Fordson Super Major

The Fordson Super Major, produced at Dagenham from 1961 to 1964, was the final and most refined version of the long-running Major line, adding draft-control hydraulics, a differential lock, weight-transfer linkage, and disc brakes. Nebraska Tractor Test 845 recorded 40.21 drawbar and 47.53 PTO horsepower from its four-cylinder Ford diesel. In the United States it was marketed as the Ford 5000.
