Ford 8N

Utility tractor · 1947–1952 · Gasoline

The Ford 8N refined the pioneering 9N formula with a 4-speed transmission, independent left/right brakes, and improved hydraulics with new position control. Launched in 1947 after Ford's split from Harry Ferguson, it went on to become one of the best-selling farm tractors ever sold in North America, with over half a million built in just five years. Its distinctive red-and-gray livery remains one of the most recognizable sights on vintage farms and at tractor shows today.
