The Oliver 66 was the smallest of Oliver's redesigned postwar Fleetline row-crop tractors, introduced alongside the 77 and 88 to replace the prewar 60 series. Built at Oliver's Charles City, Iowa plant, it paired a compact Oliver-Waukesha four-cylinder engine with the streamlined styling that defined the line. A diesel option arrived in 1951, giving small and mid-size farms an economical alternative to the gasoline engine.
