The David Brown 900 was a versatile mid-1950s tractor offered with a choice of diesel, petrol, kerosene, or high-compression engines, built at Meltham Mills from 1956 to 1958. It replaced the 25 and 30 Series and introduced a more powerful engine of around 40 hp in high-compression form. Its multi-fuel flexibility made it adaptable to varied farming conditions at home and in export markets.
